Facial Rejuvenation - Lutronic ULTRA is a highly versatile and customizable treatment that can be used on all types of skin and in multiple treatment areas. It is a gentle treatment that does not require anesthesia and can be completed quickly. Treating the face typically takes less than 15 minutes, and the entire face, neck, and chest can usually be treated in about 30 minutes. It can also be used year-round, so you are not limited in when you can achieve results.
After just one treatment, patients can start to see an improvement in a variety of skin issues, including:
- Uneven texture and tone
- Sun damage
- Hyperpigmentation
- Signs of melasma
- Freckles

Melasma Treatment - LaseMD Ultra is different from traditional resurfacing lasers as it is a non-ablative fractional treatment. Non-ablative means a laser that heats the deep layers of your skin without damaging the skin on the surface. IMC Wellness and Med Spa is extremely happy to be able to offer our patients LaseMD Ultra as a gentle laser treatment, especially for melasma.
Melasma, despite being called the mask of pregnancy, is a skin darkening condition that affects women and men. Usually, LaseMD Ultra is done as a series of 4-6 treatments and then on an as needed basis for maintenance as melasma is a condition and can recur easily from hormones and sun exposure despite sunscreen usage. Dr. Vu will discuss pairing this laser treatment with a topical lightening agent during the initial consultation.

Acne Treatment – The Ultra Glow treatment is the lightest laser resurfacing treatment. The Ultra Glow is perfect to help improve skin tone and acne breakouts. The Ultra Glow is also an ideal pre-rejuvenation treatment for younger patients.
Treatments are quick and usually no numbing is needed. There is typically no downtime with this level of treatment other than a few hours of redness. The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient depending on your individual goals and the skin concern being treated. Typically, it is recommended to have at least 3 treatments - once a month for 3 months - but more treatments may be needed.

Hair Restoration - Keralase™ is a treatment designed to create a conducive environment to facilitate hair growth and improve scalp health. It replaces the need for micro-needle rollers by using the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra laser to create non-ablative micro-channels to deliver a proprietary blend of growth factors and skin proteins (KeraFactor serum) to stimulate hair growth. The micro-channels have been shown to create 5 times higher absorption of nano-liposomes, increasing the delivery of the nano-liposomes found in the KeraFactor Serum. The peptides within the serum specifically support increased blood supply and the transition of resting hairs into the actively growing phase of hair growth for optimal results.

Chemical Peels
ZO Controlled Depth Peel®
The ZO Controlled Depth Peel (CDP) is a highly advanced, in office chemical peel that can restore healthier and more beautiful skin to the face, neck, chest, and hands of our patients. The CDP can effectively improve a wide variety of skin conditions, such as uneven pigmentation, shallow acne scars, sun-damage, fine lines and wrinkles, and freckling.
Although some results may be seen right away, patients will continue to experience gradual improvements up to 30 – 40 days following treatment, as new, healthy and vibrant skin replaces the old. During this time, the texture of the skin will become firmer, cleaner, smoother, healthier and younger-looking. The ZO Controlled Depth Peel provides maximum skin tightening benefits. It is safe and can be customized to each patient’s unique skin care needs and the current condition of their skin. For example, patients who wish to remove minor skin blemishes and improve skin tone may require 1 – 2 layers of the CDP.
To treat moderate to severe skin damage, our experienced skin care providers may recommend all 3 layers and a series of multiple CDP sessions to correct damage over several months.
